The compositions contained in this work make use of an image of great symbolic value. The wind. Also in this publication, as in the previous work ("The Tales of the Sea"), each composition is a painting or an instrumental musical story, where the figures or stories are "told" only by melody, harmony, rhythm and sound of musical instruments. The work consists of five compositions, three "stories" and two "pictures", all performed with acoustic and electric instruments without the aid of synthesizers or sampled sounds. Only in the last song, the sixth (Sunao Theme) initial draft of Sunao's Wind the "notes" performed with sampled midi sounds remained.

The tracks

Zephyros Suite (20'20")

The suite, which opens the disc, draws inspiration from the "birth of spring", told in the fifth book of Ovid's Fasti, where the poet, eager to clarify its origin, writes that it was the same goddess (Flora), first nymph ( Chloris) to tell him the story of her transformation into a goddess of spring.

Sunao's Wind (4'52")

Second song of the disc of which the homonymous video was also made. The composition initially wanted to describe the feeling that a person feels when he sees the specter of war approaching, "feeling the winds of war" and what remains inside him after having tragically gone through the event. The definitive idea of the song took shape by reading an article by Roberto Olla commenting on one of his documentaries on the atomic bomb, which aired in 2014 on Rai Uno. The article reported an interview made by Olla himself to SunaoTsuboi, a hibakusha, a survivor of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Japanese anti-nuclear and anti-war activist and teacher.

Sunao told his story starting from the evening before the explosion, where on a bridge in Hiroshima he was with her girlfriend and there, several times, forced by her, he sang her an Italian song: Santa Lucia. Then it was August 6th and all.

Caresses Of The Wind. (3'32")

It is a "painting" where the intention is to convey the sensation of a sunny day where one can lie down and enjoy the caresses of a light wind.

Jchnos' Wind (4'41")

Second picture, dedicated to the wind of our land.

Alonso's Wind (3'16")

It is the "story" of Alonso Quijano, better known as Don Quixote of La Mancha. Song dedicated to the wind of madness. That madness which is not the equivalent of a weakness but of a latent or evident irrationality, common to all.

Sunao (Theme) (2‘34“)

This song fragment is the initial idea of Sunao's Wind. It was included on the album due to a different and particular atmosphere compared to the final work that we liked to propose.
