On the occasion of the release of the "Vinilici" docufilm. Because vinyl loves music "in cinemas will be published exclusively on vinyl, in limited promotional edition, the soundtrack containing some of the songs recorded during the making of the film. In a film about vinyl, music and musicians the idea of a soundtrack too cumbersome or used in a predictable way just to amplify the emotions of the scenes was to be abandoned immediately. The choice of music is linked to the characters of the film: in the days of the shooting Lino Vairetti was in the recording room for a reissue of "'A Zingara", on the 40th anniversary of the release of the album Suddance and Massimo De Vita was busy in a series of live concerts, together with other musicians, where he presented his new song, "Solo andata". What better opportunity to start the film with their two tracks. For the occasion, the young Neapolitan singer-songwriter is invited by Lino Vairetti to join in a recording of the piece. The soundtrack thus contains a rare, contained pearl made exclusively in a limited promotional vinyl edition. Massimo De Vita joins the song "Solo Andata", reissued specifically for the soundtrack of the film, to musicians such as Bruno Bavota, appreciated Neapolitan pianist who has conquered Apple and Paolo Sorrentino: his music has been chosen for a commercial of the company of Cupertino and in the soundtrack of the TV series Sky "The Young Pope" which is chosen another perfect song to trace the most exciting scenes of the movie "You and Me" The choice of music that binds to the stories and characters of the film is curated in collaboration with the "Suoni del Sud" label by Peppe Ponti. The rhythm in the film is given thanks to the collaboration of Tony Esposito and Ciccio Merolla. Tony invited to participate in the project realizes an unreleased track for the film together with the musicians Valerio Jovine and Lino Pariota: "Do not Cry"; while Ciccio Merolla and the Etno-Funk Viruses are two instrumental compositions in which the transversal ability to combine different musical genres is highlighted: "Solution" and "Without Reasoning". A special reminder to Rino Zurzolo, a great artist who, with the music of his instrument, the double bass, is very excited and embellishes the collection of the selected pieces among those present in the docufilm. The album is published by Suoni del Sud (catalog number: SDS00045) and distributed by Ma.Ra.Cash Records.
