Finally the CELESTE project - “CELESTE with CELESTIAL Symphony Orchestra” has come to an end. Months and months of intense work dividing himself between three recording studios, involving dozens of musicians (of Classical, Rock and Jazz culture and preparation), as well as the traditional ones of the Band, Sound Engineers and Sound Designers among the best. Over 2 years dedicated to writing, arrangements and orchestrations of 13 new compositions.

The result is now 72 minutes of intense and engaging music.

For CELESTE, since the beginning of his adventure back in 1972, making an album with the symphony orchestra has always been a kind of secret dream.

We must not forget that the very first ensemble consisted of three strings: two violins and a cello. Mariano Schiavolini in fact, in addition to being a guitarist, was a student at the conservatory in the violin course and also played the clarinet. Leonardo Lagorio played the flute in addition to saxophones. Ciro Perrino had come close to graduating in flute and was also starting to study the oboe. So the sounds were rather oriented towards the sphere of classical and symphonic music.

Without ever forgetting, however, the strong Rock influences after the experience with IL SISTEMA. I remember that formation also merged Classical and Rock. I also remember that we were the first to propose in 1970 the very first version of "A Night on Bald Mountain" by Modest Musorgsky.

Then the events and personal stories of some of the members of the newborn band led to reconsider everything in another key. But the desire to one day devote himself to a more complete sound has never been forgotten. However, compositions designed for a larger ensemble were needed.

So a few years ago I started this type of project aware of the risks and difficulties I would face. While I was writing "The Awakening of the Prince" and "The Prince of the Lost Kingdom" I added other writings which I then assigned to the current project. It was an exhilarating experience!
