"Caronte 50 Years Later" is the new studio album by The Trip led by historical drummer and leader Pino "Caronte" Sinnone. The historic album Caronte, released in 1971, would have turned 50 and for the occasion was resounded in full by the new formation of the band with a more current sound. Today the band sees Andrea "Ranfa" Ranfagni (vocals), Carmine Capasso (vocals, guitars, sitar, theremin), Tony Alemanno (bass, backing vocals), Andrea "Dave" D'Avino (hammond, piano, backing vocals). The disc produced by Carmine Capasso, contains the unreleased "Acheronte" and two historical songs of the band: "Una Pietra Colorata" from the first homonymous album of 1970 and "Fantasia" which is part of the soundtrack of the film "Terzo Canale - Avventura a Montecarlo ”Where The Trip themselves were the protagonists. Carmine Capasso, The Trip. Absolutely amazing… It is not easy to re-propose albums that have made history without risking depriving them of their original freshness. The new line-up, thanks to Pino Sinnone, did it great: no regrets, but only a sweet memory of the original writings, of course to continue listening in parallel. The version of 'A Colored Stone' is noteworthy. Absolutely amazing… Monica Margot
