American blues and European rock find a new home in the album "Bloodstone" by the young Belgian singer-songwriter and guitarist Thomas Frank Hopper.

Twelve songs recorded as in the Seventies: classic rock with powerful guitars and solos in search of a dirty and true sound. Like in the title track "Bloodstone" or in the incessant ride "Come Closer". There is no shortage of the sexiest and funky songs like "Dirtylicious" or "Sweet Black Magic Sugar Babe". But it is when the artist, together with his band, experiences more enveloping sound solutions that the talent of the Belgian singer-songwriter, considered by the European rock press as the new Robert Plant, emerges: see the splendid "Tomb of the Giant" or in the lapsteel riff of " Into the Water ”orβ€œ Crazy Mojo ”. A first-rate rock album, in the wake of Greta Van Fleet's success with the difference that Hopper adds personality and originality to all the songs.

"Bloodstone" was produced by Hopper and recorded without click recording, autotune following the instinct of Seventy music by Alexandre Leroy at Studio Six in Brussels (Belgium). On the album the song "Bad Business" features the participation of the famous Belgian guitarist Frederic Lani (Fred & the Healers).

Thomas Frank Hopper (aka Thomas Verbruggen) is a Belgian singer, songwriter and musician. A youth spent in Africa, guitarist specializing in lapsteel, Hopper created his own brand Rock Nation in Belgium. The debut was in 2015 with the 5-song EP "No Man's Land" followed in 2018 by a new 4-song EP produced by Marc Gilson & Olivier Peeters. The real debut comes with the album "Bloodstone"
