"The Hidden Man of the Heart" it is the most ambitious, most kaleidoscopic work of the Russian band ROZ VITALIS, still with Lizard Records after the appreciated "Lavoro d'Amore". An album of 14 tracks for a total duration of 63 minutes. A particularly eclectic work, full of varied atmospheres and facets, thanks to the use of different keyboards, guitars, bass, drums, flute and trumpet, with the addition of exotic types of percussion, mandolin, bass clarinet and even string quartet .of strings. A surprising sequence of songs that extraordinarily emphasizes particular combinations of captivating and memorable melodies and sophisticated compositional structures, with a complex use of leitmotifs. This combination of "familiarity and alienation" is one of the trademarks of ROZ VITALIS

The style of "The Hidden Man of the Heart" - like any other ROZ VITALIS - can be described as "unclassifiable gill of Prog Rock". However, tags like "Melodic Avant Rock", "Canterbury Gothic Prog" or "between Symphonic Prog and Avant Prog" are, perhaps, also partly effective in defining them.

Conceptually the album expresses the spiritual/creative part of a person faced with difficult choices and strange dynamics. This component can be called "The hidden man of the heart".
