The project of the group 'Codice C', created by Gianluca Capitani (Steve Vai, Goblin Rebirth, etc.. ) and Danilo Cherni (Venditti, Goblin Rebirth, Fluido Rosa),
two of the most important musicians, composers and session men on the Italian music
scene, was created without the obsessive search for a 'concept' but with the help of the
many important guests (Fabio Pignatelli, Giacomo Anselmi, Andrea Casali, Claudio
Corvini, David Pieralisi, Marco Caudai, Maurizio Perfetto, Adriano Lo Giudice, Giulia
Stefani, Greta Di Iacovo, Damiano Borgi, Frank Corigliano, Frank Marino, Gianluca
Mastrangelo, Marco Dea, Daniele Marcelli, Emanuel Elisei, Francesco Marquez) finds
himself facing, with lightness and sarcasm, the theme of the most ancestral fear of Man:
death, through the rational madness of awareness and the inevitable.
Death, however, which presents itself in its best guise, seems to be simply wrapped in
dancing veils on the shore and illuminated by the warm colour of sunset in 'One in a
lifetime', one of the Whitesnake style masterpieces, or clean and fresh in 'One day more',
another cornerstone of the 'concept', which catapults the listener into an atmosphere of
great and warm choral performances.
