After a long gestation, the first disc of the Sardinian band of the same name is released. The album music is inspired by the great and historical progressive groups of the 70s, Italian and international but it also has neo prog influences and many other genres, due to the varied and heterogeneous background of the musicians involved. The title of the disc, "Overture", refers to what was the function of the overture in the classical cultured musical context, that is, the opening, the beginning of an opera. In fact, the album wants to be the beginning, therefore overture of a series of works by the band. The composition phases of the songs begin as early as 2010 but due to various vicissitudes (line-up changes, collateral musical commitments etc), they will continue until December 2015, the start date of the recordings. The recording and processing phase (mixing and mastering) will also take some time. This is to allow the band to work better on the details and on the quality of the musical part, including arrangements and sound. The album is self-produced: all the phases concerning the audio (recording, mix and mastering) were handled by the group (Samuele Desogus, with the support of the other components), the graphic part instead, is entrusted to Mauro Mondiello. The disc tells five stories based on the imagination and fantasy, which musically describe five fantastic worlds in which to transport the listener. They range from the more acoustic sounds of "Il Mendicante" to the more futuristic and artificial ones of "Crop Circles". The instrumentation of the disc is very varied: in addition to drums, bass, electric and acoustic guitars, keyboards, voices and flutes, strings (violin and double bass), percussion of all types and workmanship and sounds of various objects and devices were also used ( specially registered and processed later). The only guest on the album is Sara Cuzzupoli, who played the violin in "Il Mendicante" and sang in the choirs of "Lux et Ombra" .. La track-list : 1. Intro 2. Lux et Ombra 3. Il Mendicante 4.
