Symphonic, neoclassical and epic prog, but also much more, from jazz to rock. It is difficult to condense the emotions aroused by listening to this work in the space of a review. Almost two hours of music overflowing with enthusiasm, with a series of excellent musicians who support the core composed of Marco Bernard who plays a Rickenbacker bass, Steve Unruh on vocals, violin and flute and Kimmo Porsti on drums and percussion, the guests are so many and all very good. Then there is the artwork of the incomparable Ed Unitsky, who once again surpassed himself, making the artistic concept even more complete. five of the six tracks present are suites. "Along the Way" is a short, very poetic piano interlude, the rest ranges from over seven minutes of the initial "Preludin" to 57 of the final "The Demise" which occupies the entire second CD. This is to indicate the complexity of the individual pieces, which function a bit like Pandora's box, reserving continuous changes of tempo and atmosphere, so much so that it would be impossible to give a timely report, but I assure you that with each listening you will be able to find new passages. There are moments full of tension and mystery and others suggestive like certain horizons that make even the most insensitive hearts dream. This record is already a classic of prog and is fully part of a fantastic tradition, made up of lots of music full of lights and colors.
