Aldo Pinelli announces the release of NORDISKA VATTEN, his new album.
It was mostly recorded at VICC studios in Sweden during the artistic residency to which he was invited in 2019.
Published by the Lizard Records label under the name CLAN ALDO PINELLI (the second release with this micro collective after "Patagonia"), this album differs from what the Buenos Aires composer previously produced. The Nordic landscape becomes a source of inspiration for ethnic features and other more electric progressive rock moments, including orchestral sections.
Entirely instrumental, with some flute inserts - one of the characteristic instruments of the previous albums - "Nordiska Vatten", this time prefers new age-progressive sounds for which Aldo Pinelli still finds affinities with the more imaginative Mike Oldfield.
Pinelli took care of all the instruments with the participation of Roberto Sambrizzi -ex Hábitat- on drums, Silvia Pratolongo on percussion, Carlos Bignani on additional keyboards and Paula Dolcera on flute.
