NEW ALBUM BY THIS ITALIAN PROG BAND WHOSE MUSIC RECREATES THE EVOCATIVE ATMOSPHERES OF ENGLISH PROG ROCK OF THE 70S. IF THEIR FIRST WORK DENOTED A STRONG INFLUENCE OF EMERSON LAKE AND PALMER, ESPECIALLY DUE TO THE EXTENSIVE USE OF KEYBOARDS, THEIR SECOND ALBUM REMINDS GENESIS AND YES. IN SPITE OF THESE EVIDENT INFLUCENCES, GREEK STARS GALLERY IS A CONVINCING ALBUM AS IT CONTAINS SOME PERSONAL AND INNOVATIVE ELEMENTS. INTENSE TRACKS WHICH WITNESS THE TALENT OF A NEW PROMISING BAND ON THE ITALIAN PROG SCENE.

Kerygmatic Project were born as a cover band of UK and Asia and the trio made of Samuele Tadini, Danilo Nobili and Marco Campagnolo began to compose original songs that aim to recover, in style and in realization, the great tradition of the British progressive rock of the seventies and eighties, renewed according to a new key on order to be able to embrace different styles, so as to constitute an original and recognizable sound. The songwriting of Kerygmatic Project is affected, in fact, by the various contributions from rock, jazz and classical music. Their compositions, in fact, could hardly be categorized in such a precise way and are the result of a well-defined philosophy. According to a definition that seems appropriate, Kerygmatic Project can be considered as the expression of fresh prog & pop, a term coined by the group, as they are among the few to have placed an un-cloying cohesion, well balanced, all that is a non-trivial result of popular music, molten with the art-rock derived from the tradition of progressive. The extensive use of keyboards refer of course to the tradition of Emerson Lake & Palmer (their source of inspiration), but in 'Greek Stars Gallery' we also find strong ties with Genesis and Yes that could really tickle thoselisteners that love the golden season of progressive rock. The absence of a guitarist is not a limit when you have a keyboard as Campagnolo, gigantic in creating sounds and in releasing feeling from his keyboards, piano or synthesizer. The Kerygmatic Project, while not ignoring the great Italian tradition of PFM, Banco del Mutual Aid or Orme, prefer the English language. The internationality and the musicality of the English language is chosen for compositions that are channeled in a tradition that, as said above, has its own origins in England between the end of the year ' 60 and early 70s.
