Daal, one of the most eclectic bands in Italy in recent years, are back with theis fourth album in four years. Once again featuring Alfio Costa (Prowlers, Tilion, Fufluns) on keyboards and Davide Guidoni (Taproban, Aries, Nuova Era, Gallant Farm) on percussions, this new album - that will be called "Dodecahedron" - was inspired by 12 gothic short stories written by 12 friends and supporters of the Daal project. And once again there is an all-star supporting cast including Alessandro Papotto (B.M.S.) on wind instruments, Ettore Salati (Soul Engine, The Watch) on guitars, Vincenzo Zitello on harp and flute, Bobo Aiolfi (Tilion, Prowlers) on bass and Chiara Alberti and Sylvia Trabucco (from Hostsonaten) on cello and violin respectively. "Dodecahedron" is pretty much an instrumental concept album divided into twelve chapters in which the style that characterises the band is enriched by some stylistic innovation (more guitars and string instruments) that occasionally make it an easier listen compared to Daal's previous works: the duo, one of the most active and interesting bands in recent years, is constantly improving.
